The annual Victorian Junior Masters will again attract the leading players from around Australia and New Zealand in 2010. A field of 190 under 18's will tee up for the event which will commence at Waverley Golf Club on Monday 4 January 2010.
The event is considered Australia's leading junior golf tournament with past competitors including Adam Scott who finished in the top 5 in each of the four years he competed from the age of 15 along with winners including Aaron Baddeley in 1998, prior to winning 2 Australian Open titles, and Jason Day in 2005 who at the time was the World Junior Amateur Champion.

First conducted in 1995, the event now is one of Australia's leading junior tournaments. One hundred and ninety two players participate over days one and two prior to a cut which sees the leading 80 players plus ties compete on day three over 36 holes. Leading junior players from around Australia and New Zealand compete annually, including by invitation, six of the leading Victorian junior girls. Recent winners have included Australian representatives Luke Hickmott, Richard Moir and Marc Leishman in addition to dual Australian Open Champion Aaron Baddeley.
