Royal Children's Hospital Charity Golf Day

Walter & Eliza Hall Insitute of Medical Research

On our Annual Ladies Charity we invite lady golfers from many clubs state wide to attend.

The day includes 18 holes of golf and lunch.

During the lunch a guest speaker from our chosen charity the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research addresses the ladies about the part they play in the future of medical research at the Institute.

We hold a wonderful raffle and stall with homemade produce and goods as part of the fundraising.

Oaks Day Luncheon - Very Special Kids

Melbourne Cup Week is an exciting time of year and at Waverley Golf Club we are no exception culminating in our Ladies Oaks Day luncheon which raises money for ?Very Special Kids.?

The traditions of Oaks Day are maintained with plenty of champers, fashion and good old fashioned fun fun fun!

Apart from special guests there are Fashions on the Field, Race Sweeps, Raffles and races on the large screen all day.

We welcome any ladies looking for an alternative to attending the racetrack.

Be sure of an early booking as the day is a sell out each year.

Angliss Hospital Charity Day

The 10th annual Angliss Hospoital Charity Golf & Bowls Day was held at WGC 3 April 2006.  The day proved to be a success once again with almost $9,200 raised, bringing the grand total since its inception to $108,000.

Funds raised over the past two years have been used to purchase items such as a Vital Signs Monitor for Day Surgery Unit, a Cardio Respiratory Monitor, and a Double IMED Infusion Pump for the Medical Ward.

Arrangements are now underway to secure the event for 2007.  If you would like to be involved as sponsor or participant, please contact:
