Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club welcomes all our members into the friendly Wednesday morning and Sunday competitions. Our Wednesday games are followed by lunch, good conversation, and informal presentations. Competitions are available all year in varied formats, from informal summer ball events through to the Monthly Medals, Championship fields, and other Trophy days from February to November. Mixed events are also run for members.
Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club is affiliated with Golf Victoria, an organisation that offers state-wide competitions, including Metropolitan Pennant entrance, and handicapping services to our players. We are part of the Eastern District clubs grouping which offers Interclub matchplay annually.
Summer Weekend Matchplay plus many invitational Challenge Bowls and Open Days, offer opportunities for our members to play at various clubs.
Every year we enjoy a winter break away with our 'Waverley Wanderers' - a three day golf excursion to the Murray River.
With these facilities available, plus our friendly helpful staff in the Pro-shop, it means that members' golfing needs are well catered for at Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club.
