JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS

Background

Waverley Golf Club (WGC), home of the Victorian Junior Masters, pro actively encourages junior golfers and their development.   WGC offers membership and an extensive program of events and activities for junior (under 18) golfers.  Subscription fees currently begin from $261 (see information pack for further detail).

Programs - Cadet (Under 13 yr old) & Junior (13 - 18 yr old) Membership

Benefits of Cadet & Junior Membership @ Waverley:

  • Try for 6 months with no further obligations (condtions apply)
  • Subscription fee includes $100 of tuition with the Club's AAA Rated PGA teaching Professional (available in the 1st year of membership only)
  • Membership feeds into additional junior programs such as the Adam Scott Foundation Junior Program
  • Upon graduation from the Cadet program, members receive a certificate of completion signed by Adam Scott (World Top 10 Professional Golfer) 
  • Junior Clinics held at various times throughout the year
  • Opportunity to participate in representative golf competitions (such as Junior & Colts Pennant)
  • Annual Junior Kelly Cup Tournament

Victorian Junior Masters

Waverley Golf Club has hosted annually the Victorian Junior Masters and will again attract the leading players from around Australia and New Zealand in 2010.

The event is considered Australia's leading junior golf tournament with past winners including Aaron Baddeley who defeated Adam Scott in 1998 prior to winning two Australian Open titles.
