Churchill-Waverley has an active and welcoming bowls program, lead by a hospitable committee very eager to include corporate and social groups wherever possible. Lawn Bowls is a fantastic sport to encourage people of any age and allows the entire group an opportunity to participate in a team environment.
With interest in the game constantly swelling, the Club extends the invitation to all age groups and the friendly coaching volunteers are more than happy to host your event no matter the skill level of the group. Waverley Golf Club provides all equipment required; a relaxed dress code requiring neat presentation and appropriate footware whilst playing is applicable.
A full lawn bowls day can be completed in half the time of a round of golf and our floodlit greens offer flexibility in the timing of your event. Many groups take the opportunity to host an afternoon event, providing drinks close by and a social dinner to follow. With hectic work schedules in mind, your group can meet and enjoy a meal in a private dining room and follow this with a bowls game under lights.
Groups as small as twenty are able to enjoy the facility, with all guests to be guided or instructed throughout. Churchill-Waverley invites all corporate or social groups interested to try a very social and enjoyable team game.
